Ceduna sits where the Eyre Highway meets the coast, so the work in here runs from a school run hatchback to a caravan that's just come off the Nullarbor to a low loader that needs a rim off on the side of the road. Whatever's rolled in, it gets the same treatment.

Used tyres
Sound second hand tyres with plenty of tread left, checked over before they go on. The sensible option when you need to get moving and don't want to spend big.
Tyre fitting
Fitted properly on the machine, seated and inflated to the right pressure, from a small car rim up to truck and ag rubber.
Wheel balancing
Balanced on the spin balancer so the steering sits still at highway speed and your new tyres wear evenly instead of scalloping.
Tyre rotation
Swapped around front to back so the whole set wears at the same rate. The cheapest thing you can do to get more kilometres out of a set.
Puncture repairs
Plugged or patched properly from the inside where the damage allows it, so you're not buying a whole new tyre over one screw.
Wheel alignment
Alignments done in the workshop. Worth doing after new tyres, after a decent pothole, or any time the car is pulling to one side.
Tyre checks
Pressures, tread depth and a look for damage before you head off. Pull in on your way out of town and we'll cast an eye over the lot.

The board out the front says on-call 24/7 and it means it. Cars, caravans, trailers, trucks and machinery. If you're on the side of the highway outside shop hours, ring the number and we'll sort out what happens next.
In the shed during the week we've got the machines to do it properly: tyre changer, spin balancer, alignment and a wall of stock, from small car rubber to ag tyres.

The workshop

Bill and the team run the tyre shop at 20 Goode Road. It's a straightforward outfit: honest prices, work done while you wait where we can, and no upsell on things you don't need. That approach is the reason the Google rating still reads five stars after 162 reviews.
Plenty of the work comes from people passing through. Ceduna is the last real stop before the Nullarbor heading west, and the first one coming back the other way, so a fair share of the day is spent getting travellers and their caravans safely back on the road.
The rest is local: farm utes, work trailers, the school run, and the trucks and machinery that keep the district moving. We've put our own people through proper training so wheel alignments get done here in the shed rather than out of town.
